The workshop will be led in a form of a seminar, during which participants will look at the most common narratives built around NGOs, selected techniques of disinformation to shape the negative image of these organizations and possible strategies for dealing with it. The work will be based on the analysis of real cases and looking for solutions to real problems of the organizations participating in the training. The aim of the training is to strengthen organizations in taking actions to counteract disinformation and manipulation about them.
Katarzyna Sadło, who will conduct the training, is a trainer and consultant with many years of experience in cooperation with NGOs, cooperating with TechSoup as a trainer in the field of counteracting disinformation. She was a long-time president of the Civil Society Development Foundation and is currently a member of the board of the Henryk Wujec Civic Fund for Poland. Apart from her involvement in the activities of non-governmental organizations she is also an active commentator of public life in social media, the author of one of the first Polish political blogs and a columnist of "Plus Minus". - a weekend supplement to Rzeczpospolita.
The training is initiated by TechSoup Europe in cooperation with the Projection Room. The program includes 4 online training sessions conducted through the Cisco Webex Meeting platform in days: December 7th, December 14th, December 21st and December 28th from 18:00 to 19:30, consultations with the trainer between sessions and individual work of participants.

Filling in the form takes about 20 minutes. The training will be conducted in Polish, but part of the form should be filled in English. Number of places is limited, we plan to have 15 participants.
