As AI technology advances, it presents a double-edged sword in the realm of information and a real challenge for teachers and educators— it can be harnessed to fight disinformation while also capable of generating misleading content. This Learning Group delves into the complex relation between AI education. We will focus on strategies to foster critical thinking skills in young people in the digital age.
The paradigm of teaching is changing and we need to have a deep reflection on how to face it. Through interactive exercises and case studies, during each of two meetings of the Learning Group, together we’ll examine innovative approaches for integrating AI literacy and media literacy education into curricula and we will discuss how to implement it in the classroom on an everyday basis.

The Learning Group is all about providing educators, activists, and leaders with practical tools, skills and attitudes to deal with the evolving landscape of AI-driven content responsibly. By promoting critical thinking and ethical AI use, we will be developing our skills to use AI wisely knowing the profits and the risks of the AI in the educational context.
