- to explain what “Open Data” is;
- to list the principles of Open Data;
- to outline the Open Data policy guidelines;
- to give examples of Open Data services;
- to describe different data types and formats;
- to choose the appropriate format for different types of data;
- to illustrate how to choose the right text encoding format in order to avoid the incorrectly displayed data.

- Civil society practitioners interested in learning more about the best practices of the Open Data application in the field ranging from global perspective to specific local cases and practical tips.
- Trainers and educators motivated to deepen and/or assess their knowledge and skills in this subject.
