The cycle includes three meetings in the form of webinars, each of which is addressed to about 30 people and will last 1.5 hours. The webinars will take place on three consecutive Mondays.

The first meeting (November 16th) will be an introduction to the world of disinformation and will familiarize with the basic issues and terminology related to the area of disinformation.

2nd Meeting (November 23rd) will focus on actors, phenomena and tools used in organized disinformation processes, such as micro-targeting.

3. the meeting (30 November) will discuss strategies for dealing with and counteracting disinformation, as well as introduce basic issues related to fact checking and building positive narratives and counter-notifications.

At the end of the whole cycle the participant will be a more conscious and responsible user of media, including social media.

Anna Skocz, who will lead the meetings, is an experienced trainer and NGO activist; a trainer of the NGO Coach Association, an educator involved in youth work at the level of local government and NGOs, an advocate of youth participation and youth involvement in social issues.

The training is initiated by TechSoup Europe in cooperation with the NGO Coach Association STOP. It includes 3 online meetings (conducted through the Cisco Webex Meeting / Cisco Webex Training platform) on 16, 23, 30 November 2020, from 18:00-19:30.
