The workshops will be run as a series of seminars during which the participants will take a closer look at the most common narratives built around particular topics, environments and organizations, selected techniques of disinformation to shape their negative image and possible strategies for dealing with it. The work will be based on analysis of real-life cases and searching for solutions to real problems. The aim of the training is to strengthen young people and their organizations in taking actions to counteract disinformation and manipulation surrounding them.

Katarzyna Sadło, who will conduct the trainings, is a trainer and consultant with many years of experience in cooperation with non-governmental organizations, cooperating with TechSoup as a trainer in the field of counteracting disinformation. She was a long-time president of the Civil Society Development Foundation and is currently a member of the board of the Henryk Wujec Civic Fund for Poland. Apart from her involvement in the activities of non-governmental organizations she is also an active commentator of public life in social media, the author of one of the first Polish political blogs and a columnist of "Plus Minus". - a weekend supplement to Rzeczpospolita.

The training is initiated by TechSoup Europe in cooperation with Projekciarnia. The programme includes 4 online training sessions conducted through the Cisco Webex Meetings platform on the following dates: 25th January, 1st February, 8th February and 15th February 2021, from 18:00 to 19:30 (Mondays) in a seminar-workshop formula.

Application process takes up to 15 minutes altogether The training will be conducted in Polish, but a part of the application form should be completed in English. Number of places on the workshops is limited, we plan to have 15-20 participants max.
