The Countering the Misinformation Surrounding the Transition to a Green Economy project aims to prevent and counter the false narratives emerging around the transition to a green economy. It will educate the public on how to defend themselves against misinformation on climate change and the transition to a sustainable European economy. The project will research which communities are most exposed to this type of misinformation, monitor the media and public space to combat climate change misinformation, and assemble a framework that can be useful to colleagues who do fact-checking in other EU states.
