In times of upheaval and rising tensions, finding a shared perspective across different disciplines can be a powerful unifying force. The fight against injustice and inequality takes many forms—one of them is art.
“Art, an open box in which everyone can put what they prefer”. But what happens when activism is added to that box?
We invite you to listen to this Hive Mind Podcast episode exploring artivism, technology, and whistleblowing—drawing from disciplines that may seem unrelated but, at their core, share common values.
Our guest, Tatiana Bazzichelli, explores a network of connections, beginning with artivism — the fusion of art and activism. This episode is an opportunity to understand the origins of this phenomenon and the interdisciplinary collaborations that shape it. Each connection shifts perspectives, driving justice in society and politics while building networks of trust.
In this episode, we explore:
What is art? Or rather, what isn’t?
How do we define artivism, and what is its history?
What is the role of a curator, and how does curation and networking intersect with art, activism, and technology?
How are networking and art connected? What makes a well-functioning network?
What does disruption mean, and how do we build on that concept? How do networking and disruption intertwine?
How are whistleblowing and artivism connected?
