The Countering Disinformation Narratives After a Year of War in Ukraine project aims to explore, uncover, and map a specific typology of disinformation and narratives circulated in Romania after one year of war in Ukraine in order to raise awareness, inform and advocate for countering disinformation. The project will research which communities are most exposed to this type of misinformation, monitor the media and public space to combat disinformation and assemble a framework that can be useful to colleagues who do fact-checking in other EU states. The project can be used to combat disinformation about the war in Ukraine and ensure that accurate information is shared.
